The Secretary maintains up-to-date records of the Association's business which includes minutes from meetings of Council. The Secretary is also responsible for the membership ledger and holds the Activist Points schedule, which gives members an indication of how much work elected officials are doing.

The Political Officer liaises between the Association and the National and Local Party Organisations. The P.O., with the President, also plans the Association's political outlook and chairs Port and Policy.

The Publicity Officer is responsible for issuing press releases, maintaining the website and the e-mailing members on behalf of the Association.

Amongst other things, the Publications Officer is general editor of the Association's magazine 'Blueprint' which is produced in close liaison with the President.

Responsible for mobilising the committee and keeps the Association running smoothly, the Whip fills roles assigned to him by the President.
